Like music to your eyes

Collective exhibition at the House of Culture

On August 9, 2024 at 8:00 p.m., the exhibition "Like music for your eyes (Como música para tus ojos)" opens at the Fuengirola House of Culture, a project that after several years of vicissitudes, among which COVID-19 particularly stood out, finally sees the light in a purely photographic format.

The exhibition is initially based on a joint research project with the María Jesus Solla Academy: the different points of view in which different artistic disciplines (in this case photography and painting) are capable of representing music. To the 15 original photographic images, another 23 photographs taken by members of the Image Collective have been incorporated, making up a total of 38 works displayed in the room.

I participate with an image called "Music Bank", taken in the city where The Beatles were born, Liverpool.

The exhibition is on display until September 1 at the Fuengirola House of Culture (Casa de la Cultura), at Ave. Juan Gomez "Juanito" 12, from Monday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Starting August 16, the afternoon schedule changes from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
