Jury in the battle between international photographic groups on the Costa del Sol

On Thursday, May 11, 2023, I had the honor of serving as a jury in The Battle, an annual competition between photographic clubs of foreign residents on the Costa del Sol.

This year the event was hosted by Shutterbugs Photographic Group, which measured forces with Lake Viñuela Photographic Club. My task was to assess and rate the images and explain to the attendees the reasons for my decisions, which finally gave the host victory in this year's battle.

I am grateful to John Campbell, president of Shutterbugs and staunch supporter of The Battle, for giving me this opportunity and trusting me to carry out this enriching task.
