New Andalusian Cinema 2022 Finalist

Finalist in the New Andalusian Cinema Photography Contest 2022

On September 18, the 30 finalists of the Casares New Andalusian Cinema 2022 photography contest were announced, among which is my photograph "Red Jackets". The image was taken during the 4th of July commemorative celebrations in Macharaviaya.

The jury, which had to assess between 180 photographs, was made up of Soledad Villalba Cumpián, Eva Mena Pozo, Jesús Chacón, Gladys Andrea Farias and Elena Pedrosa.

During the closing gala of the IX New Andalusian Film Festival, which took place on Saturday, October 8 at the Blas Infante Cultural Center, the winners of the contest were announced:
- "1960", by Lidia Pinta Frías. Winner of the Pajarraco de Plata and €1,000.
- "Dolores", by Agustín Pacheco Saavedra. Second prize.
- "Ida", by Antonio Horacio Muñoz Blanca. Second prize.
- "So far", by José Agustín Cascales Moriana. Second prize.
